Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a part of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011, was the founding co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. The actress also worked for as a member of the SSC as the producer as well as a costume/set design composer/music director and as a text coach and as the Artistic Director. While she was usually the leader the acting group but in the final year with SSC King Lear, she took on the role of director and light designer. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Apart from her acting work, she's also associated with several game programs. She was raised by her two brothers and sisters in Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's poetess wife Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her high school that she chose to attend. It was where she played cheerleader. Following a short stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Post previously married Stephen Knox. Since 1982 she has been married to actor and writer Michael A. Ross with who they have two children. Post is a wonderful actress, an ideal mother and wife, and also a role model for many Hollywood stars.
