Julie Chen Moonves will host the reality series that is a huge hit in summer, Big Brother. The show is set to return to CBS on the 5th of August to begin the third season. Chen Moonves has been involved in The Talk since 2010, in which she served as both the host and the moderator. Then it was when she began writing that her true passion began to emerge. She also won one Emmy award for outstanding host of a talk show. She was co-hosting CBS News weekday morning show The Early Show between 2002 until 2010. In the past, she served as CBS Morning News anchor and hosts of The Early Show. After the attacks of 9/11 She was taken to Cairo and tracked down the lead hijacker's father for an intense and shocking interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. In addition, she met with ex- New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani as well as Queen Rania. Chen Moonves has also worked with the CBS's New York City station WCBS as a reporter, anchor, and anchor (1997-1999). Prior to entering CBS News at the beginning of 1995 Chen Moonves had been a reporter at WDTN TV Dayton. While completing her last year of university, she worked as an assistant at ABC News in Los Angeles (1990-1991) as well as the director of ABC NewsOne (the network's affiliated news program). As a desk assistant in the ABC News late night broadcast Nightline, she worked with Ted Koppel. He remains one her heroes in journalism. Chen Moonves worked with Koppel in the Columbia du-Pont-nominated show on primetime, Anatomy of a Riot that examined the 1992 Los Angeles riots.
